This 1998 Toyota Tacoma SR5 is an Xtracab pickup that spent much of its life in South Carolina and remained registered to its original owner through 2021. The truck is finished in white over gray cloth, and it is powered by a 2.7-liter inline-four linked to a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional equipment includes 15″ alloy wheels, a drop-in bed liner, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows and locks, and a cassette stereo. This Tacoma has 92k miles and is now offered by the selling dealer in Georgia with manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean South Carolina title.
The truck is finished in white with black side mirror caps and features a chrome grille, bumper trim, and wheel arch moldings. Features include a sliding rear window, mud flaps, and a drop-in bed liner.
Factory 15″ alloy wheels with machine-finished faces are wrapped in BFGoodrich Long Trail T/A tires up front and Goodyear Wrangler tires out back. A spare wheel and tire are mounted to the underside of the truck. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features front bucket and rear jump seats upholstered in gray patterned cloth along with matching door panel inserts. Amenities include power windows and locks, air conditioning, cruise control, a cassette stereo, and Tacoma-branded floor mats.
A two-spoke steering wheel frames a 110-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 92k miles.
The 2.7-liter 3RZ-FE inline-four features electronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 150 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque when new.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery.
Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in New York, South Carolina, and Georgia.
