This 1967 Ford Mustang GT Fastback was built on November 29, 1966, and was initially delivered to Norwood Auto Sales of Ohio. The car is finished in Silver Frost over black and powered by a replacement fuel-injected 390ci V8 mated to a five-speed manual transmission. A refurbishment commissioned after the seller’s acquisition in 2005 consisted of repainting the body and installing the replacement engine, transmission, four-wheel disc brakes, a Currie 9″ rear axle, a Flowmaster exhaust system, a tilt steering column, AutoMeter gauges, TMI bucket seats, power windows, and an aftermarket sound system. Additional equipment includes 15″ five-spoke wheels, power steering, the GT Equipment group, quarter window louvers, a fold-down rear seat, and a Hurst shifter. This GT Fastback is offered with an Elite Marti Report, records from the refurbishment, an award, and New York registration in the seller’s name.
The car left the factory finished in Silver Frost and was repainted as part of a refurbishment completed in 2007. Exterior features include quarter window louvers, chrome bumpers, faux quarter panel vents, reverse lamps, side mirrors, and a power antenna. The GT Equipment Group included grille-mounted fog lamps, black rocker panel stripes, “GT” badges, and a dual exhaust system. LED taillights and hood indicators are installed, and the vent window frames have been re-chromed.
The 15″ five-spoke wheels wear 215/65 BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and modifications include power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, tubular front suspension components, and adjustable coilovers at all four corners. The seller notes that the suspension is adjusted to its lowest position.
Black TMI bucket seats are installed and joined by a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes a center console, power-operated windows, polished door sills, a Hurst shifter, a fold-down rear seat, a carpeted trunk, and a Custom Autosound stereo wired to a satellite tuner and a 10-disk CD changer mounted in the trunk. A replacement Painless Performance wiring harness was installed under current ownership.
The gray-rimmed steering wheel is mounted to a tilting column and fronts AutoMeter gauges housed in billet bezels. The five-digit odometer shows 1,700 miles, all of which have been added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 390ci V8 was installed as part of the refurbishment and features electronic fuel injection, an aluminum radiator, and aftermarket headers connected to a Flowmaster dual exhaust system.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission, an Inland Empire aluminum driveshaft, and a Currie 9″ rear end.
The framed reproduction window sticker and Elite Marti Report show factory colors and equipment, initial delivery to Norwood Auto Sales of Ohio, and a total price of $3,442.
The car does not have a title, as it is registered in a state that does not issue titles for a vehicle of its age. It is being sold on its registration.
