This 1985 Honda VF700S Sabre is finished in silver and black with red accents and powered by a liquid-cooled 699cc DOHC V4 mated to a six-speed transmission. Equipment includes a stepped two-up seat, a rear grab bar, a throttle lock device, a driveshaft, a Pro-Link monoshock, dual front disc brakes, aftermarket hand grips and rear turn signals, and both center and side stands as well as an air-adjustable fork with TRAC anti-dive control. The bike was acquired by the selling dealer in March 2022, and service in preparation for the sale included replacing the battery and the tires. This VF700S is now offered at no reserve with an owner’s manual, a Honda tool kit, and a clean Wisconsin title.
The tail section, the side covers, and the 4.8-gallon fuel tank feature a contiguous design and are finished in silver and black with red accents. Equipment includes dual horns, folding passenger foot pegs, a stepped two-up saddle with a rear grab bar, and full street lighting with aftermarket rear turn signals as well as both center and side stands. The selling dealer notes paint scrapes and touch-ups as well as cracks in the left side cover.
Cast-alloy wheels measuring 18″ up front and 17″ at the rear wear Kenda Challenger tires mounted by the selling dealer in preparation for the sale. Air-adjustable suspension is provided by a 37mm telescopic fork with Honda’s TRAC anti-dive system as well as a Pro-Link monoshock with three-way adjustable rebound damping. Braking is handled by a pair of 274mm discs with two-piston calipers up front and a rear drum.
A black handlebar equipped with replacement grips, dual black mirrors, and an aftermarket throttle lock is mounted aft of instrumentation including a 145-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 10,500-rpm redline, LCD readouts for coolant temperature and gear selection, and a row of warning lamps. The five-digit odometer shows 26k miles.
The liquid-cooled 699cc DOHC V4 is equipped with a quartet of 32mm Keihin CV carburetors and a four-into-two exhaust system with a pair of megaphone-style mufflers, and it produced 76 horsepower when new. The battery was replaced in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheel through a six-speed transmission and a driveshaft enclosed within the left leg of the swingarm.
An owner’s manual and a Honda tool kit accompany the bike.
