This 1990 Mercedes-Benz 300SE is said to have been purchased new by the previous owner through the Mercedes-Benz European Delivery Program and remained registered in Illinois until it was relocated to Wisconsin by the selling dealer in 2022. The car is powered by a 3.0-liter M103 inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Arctic White over blue leather. Equipment includes 15″ Gullideckel alloy wheels, a sunroof, fog lights, a Becker cassette stereo, automatic climate control, and cruise control. Recent work performed under previous ownership reportedly included a tune-up and the replacement of the tires and battery. This W126 300SE shows 111k miles and is now offered in Wisconsin by the selling dealer at no reserve with the owner’s manual, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Illinois title.
The car is finished in Arctic White (147) with gray lower cladding and features a power-operated steel sunroof, headlight washers and wipers, fog lights, polished aluminum bumper and window trim, a power antenna, and dual exhaust outlets. Scuffing along the front bumper cover, a dimple in each left door, and a cracked left headlight can be seen up-close in the photo gallery below.
Silver-finished 15″ Gullideckel alloy wheels wear 205/65 Hankook Optimo H426 tires that were reportedly mounted in 2019. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs with ABS.
The interior features seating surfaces upholstered in blue leather along with a color-matching dashboard, center console, door panels, and carpeting. Appointments include power-adjustable front seats with position memory along with a Becker Grand Prix cassette stereo, automatic climate control, and cruise control. Zebrano wood veneers accent the dashboard, console, and doors.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer inset with an analog clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and instant fuel economy. The six-digit odometer shows 111k miles.
The 3.0-liter M103 inline-six was factory rated at 177 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. According to the selling dealer, a tune-up was performed in 2018, and the battery was replaced in December 2021. A crack on the valve cover can be seen in the gallery.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage and lists history in Illinois. A gap in entries between 1990 and 2002 is visible on the report.
