This 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is finished in metallic tan over beige leather and cloth upholstery, and it is powered by a 5.9-liter V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes a roof rack, 15″ alloy wheels, a receiver hitch, air conditioning, cruise control, and power-adjustable front seats. Modifications consist of an Edelbrock Pro-Flo fuel injection system, an MSD Blaster 2 ignition coil, aftermarket headlights, front seat heaters, rear shoulder belts, and an Alpine CD stereo. The truck previously spent time in Arizona, Colorado, New York, and Florida before its acquisition by the selling dealer in August 2021. This Grand Wagoneer shows 46k miles and is now offered in North Carolina with a clean Carfax report and a clean Florida title.
The truck is said to have been refinished in its present shade of metallic tan in 2009, at which time aftermarket headlights were installed and the faux-wood paneling was reportedly replaced. Additional features include fog lights, polished bumpers, a Jeep hood ornament, a roof rack, a receiver hitch, and a rear window wiper.
The 15″ alloy wheels wear Suretrac Power Touring tires that were reportedly installed in preparation for the sale. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The selling dealer states that the wheels were refurbished under prior ownership.
The cabin features seats upholstered in beige leather with Cumberland Corduroy inserts along with matching door panels, tan carpets, and woodgrain accents. Equipment includes power-adjustable front seats, air conditioning, an overhead console, power windows and locks, cruise control, and a retractable cargo cover. Rear shoulder belts, front seat heaters, and an Alpine CD stereo were installed by Wagonmaster of Kerville, Texas, under prior ownership.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel is tilt-adjustable and frames a 100-mph speedometer, a digital clock, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 46k miles, approximately 1k of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 5.9-liter V8 has been modified with an Edelbrock Pro-Flo fuel injection system and an MSD Blaster 2 ignition coil. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a TorqueFlite 727 three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range Selec-Trac transfer case with a viscous coupling. Additional underside photos can be viewed in the gallery.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Colorado, Arizona, New York, and Florida front its first entry in October 1995 through its most recent in March 2021.
