This 1966 Chevrolet C10 is a short-bed regular cab pickup that was acquired by the owner in 2021 following a refurbishment performed over the course of several years in Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Ohio. Work included a repaint in blue and reupholstery of the interior in white vinyl along with installing front disc brakes, an aluminum fuel tank, a sunroof, a dual exhaust system, a tilt steering column, power windows, and upgraded audio components. Power is provided by a 396ci V8 mated to a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission, and additional features consist of wooden bed slats, power steering, air conditioning, chrome bumpers, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and 15″ wheels. This C10 pickup is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with in-progress restoration photographs, receipts, video footage, and a clean Montana title in the owner’s name.
The truck was repainted in Spectra Master Blue following replacement of the tailgate, brake lamps, and headlights according to the seller. Additional features include a sunroof, chrome bumpers and body-side moldings, a cowl-induction hood, vent windows, and stained wood slats with polished cargo runners in the bed area.
Steel 15” wheels wear polished trim rings and are mounted with 275/60 Defender Sport SR tires all around. Power-assisted front disc brakes and power steering have been installed.
The interior features a bench seat reupholstered in two-tone white and gray vinyl, while additional work performed under previous ownership included installing blue carpets, aftermarket air conditioning, GM-branded floor mats, power windows, and a Pioneer stereo and speakers.
A wood-rimmed steering wheel sits on a tilting column and frames a replacement gauge cluster and a refinished dashboard. The horizontal 100-mph speedometer includes a five-digit odometer showing 157 miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The 396ci V8 is said to have been rebuilt in 2004 and features an aluminum radiator, a Holley Street Avenger carburetor, orange-painted valve covers with “375 horsepower” badging, an aluminum fuel tank, and a dual exhaust system.
A 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission routes power through a rear axle with a chrome cover and a 3.73:1 gear ratio. Additional underbody photographs are provided in the gallery below.
