This 2011 Jaguar XJL was initially sold by Desert European Motorcars of Rancho Mirage, California, and spent time in the state through the seller’s acquisition in 2019. The car is finished in Caviar Metallic over Ivory leather and powered by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes dual sunroofs, tinted windows, 20″ Kasuga wheels, four-zone climate control, heated and ventilated front and rear seats, and a Bluetooth-capable factory infotainment system with navigation, a DVD changer, and Bowers & Wilkins audio. Recent service included performing an oil change in addition to replacing the tires and the cabin and intake air filters. This XJL has 41k miles and is now offered with service records, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The long-wheelbase body is finished in Caviar Metallic and features dual glass sunroofs, tinted windows, power-folding mirrors, dynamic xenon headlights with washers, and LED taillights. Scratches and rock chips on the body are noted by the seller. Paint measure readings are presented in the gallery below.
Kasuga 20″ alloy wheels wear 245/40 front and 275/35 rear Lexani LX tires that were mounted in February 2022. Braking is handled by four-wheel disc brakes, and the car is equipped with dynamic stability control as well as a self-leveling rear air suspension.
The heated and ventilated front and rear seats are trimmed in Ivory leather with contrasting piping and are complemented by a color-coordinated lower dash and door panels. Additional amenities include power-adjustable front seats with memory settings, four-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, power windows, rear tray tables, and a Bluetooth-capable infotainment system with navigation, a DVD changer, and a 1,200-watt Bowers & Wilkins sound system. The cabin air filter was replaced in December 2021. Wear is visible on the driver’s seat and the engine start button is faded. The seller notes that the sunshade for the rear sunroof does not retract smoothly, and this is shown in a video below.
A wood-trimmed multifunction steering wheel sits ahead of paddle shifters and digital instrumentation consisting of a 170-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 41k miles, approximately 17k of which were added during current ownership.
The supercharged 5.0-liter V8 was factory rated at 470 horsepower and 424 lb-ft of torque. A replacement water pump and hoses were fitted during current ownership, and service in December 2021 included performing an oil change and replacing the intake air filters. The car passed an emissions test in October 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission and an active differential. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery below.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California since new.
