This 1990 Toyota Land Cruiser is a right-hand-drive example that is said to have been imported to the US from Japan under previous ownership and was acquired by the selling dealer in March 2022. It is finished in cream over gray cloth, and power comes from a 4.0-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Equipment includes locking front, center, and rear differentials as well as 16″ alloy wheels, fog lights, a sunroof, heated front seats, automatic climate control, a refrigerated center console, cruise control, and an aftermarket Kenwood CD stereo. Work under current ownership is said to have included changing the oil and replacing the oil pan gasket, tires, battery, and brake pads. This FJ80 shows 238k kilometers (148k miles) and is now offered with a tool roll and a clean North Carolina title.
The truck was refinished in its current shade of cream under prior ownership and features tinted windows, a power sunroof, running boards, rain deflectors, fog lights, headlight washers, and mudflaps. Chips and scratches are noted around the body.
Six-spoke 16″ allow wheels are wrapped in 285/75 General Grabber A/T tires. The brake pads, tires, and drag link ends are said to have been replaced under current ownership.
The seats are upholstered in two-tone gray cloth, and equipment includes heated front seats, a refrigerated center console, automatic climate control, electric windows, a rear cabin heater, an overhead altimeter, and an aftermarket Kenwood CD stereo. There is wear on the door panel trim, and the speaker covers in the front doors are damaged.
Fold-down third-row seats are located in the rear cargo area.
Instrumentation includes a tachometer with a 4,600-rpm redline, a 180-km/h speedometer, and gauges for oil pressure, voltage, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 238k kilometers (~148k miles), approximately 600 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 4.0-liter 3F-E inline-six was factory rated at 155 horsepower and 220 lb-ft of torque. The selling dealer notes that work in preparation for the sale has included changing the oil as well as replacing the oil pan gasket and battery.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission, a two-speed transfer case, and front, center, and rear locking differentials. Corrosion is visible on the underside components, additional photos of which are provided in the gallery.
