This 1997 AM General Hummer is a yellow-over-gray Open Top model that is powered by a 6.5-liter turbodiesel V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes 20″ Black Rhino wheels, 37″ tires, a brush guard, Hella fog lights, a Warn winch, a black soft top, a receiver hitch, air conditioning, and an aftermarket Pioneer stereo paired with a JL Audio sound system. The truck has remained registered in California from new and was acquired by the seller in April 2021. This Hummer shows 36k miles and is now offered by the seller on behalf of its current owner with the removed CTIS wheels and steering wheel, spare factory headlights, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The truck is finished in Fly Yellow (Y18) with a black soft top. Exterior details include a brush guard, four Hella fog lights, a Warn winch, Predator LED front and rear marker lights, LED headlights, smoked amber indicators and side marker lights, and a receiver hitch.
This is a re-list after the vehicle previously was sold on BaT in April 2022 and the winning bidder failed to follow through with their commitment to purchase. This was not due to any fault with the vehicle. The winner has been banned from future participation on BaT and their buyer’s fee was not refunded.
Black Rhino 20″ wheels are mounted with 37×12.5″ Toyo Open Country tires showing 2020 production date codes. The truck is equipped with four-wheel independent suspension and anti-lock disc brakes.
The cabin is equipped with front and rear bucket seats trimmed in gray cloth along with a color-coordinated dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, and Hummer-branded floor mats, while modifications include RubberDuck 4×4 door handles, replacement window switch housings, relocated HVAC controls, and a Pioneer stereo with Apple CarPlay and navigation connected to a JL Audio sound system. The cigarette lighter has reportedly been converted to a USB port.
A MOMO steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 3,400-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 36k miles, approximately 200 of which have been added by the current owner. The removed factory steering wheel is included in the sale.
The 6.5-liter turbodiesel V8 was factory rated at 190 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque and sends power to all four wheels via a four-speed 4L80E automatic transmission and dual-range transfer case.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California from new.
