This 1989 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62 was registered in California before being acquired by the current owner in 2000 and subsequently moving to North Carolina and Texas. The truck is powered by a 4.0L 3F-E inline-six linked with a four-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case. The truck is finished in white over gray cloth upholstery and is equipped with 15″ polished steel wheels, front disc brakes, air conditioning, locking front hubs, a receiver hitch, and an Alpine CD stereo. This FJ62 shows 126k miles and is offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title in the current owner’s name.
The truck is finished in white and features quad rectangular headlights, chrome bumpers with black end caps, a receiver hitch, mud flaps, a front tow hook, a rear window wiper, and a split tailgate. Close-up photos of the paint and trim can be seen in the gallery.
Factory 15″ polished steel wheels are mounted with 31×10.5″ Michelin LTX M/S tires. The front axle is equipped with manually locking hubs, and braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features front bucket seats upholstered in patterned gray cloth as well as a matching folding rear bench and door panels. Equipment includes air conditioning, an Alpine CD stereo, a center console, a rear window defroster, and power windows, locks, and side mirrors. Air conditioning components were replaced and the system was recharged in February 2022.
The two-spoke steering wheel wears an aftermarket wrap and frames a 110-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and battery voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 126k miles, approximately 46k of which were added under current ownership.
The fuel-injected 3F-E 4.0L inline-six was factory rated at 155 horsepower and 220 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed, the battery was replaced, and the coolant was flushed in January 2022.
Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Corrosion can be seen on the underbody components, and additional underside photos are available in the gallery.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California, North Carolina, and Texas from the first entry in 1992.
