This 1973 BMW 3.0CS is finished in white over brown leather and is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-six paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 16″ Alpina-style wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a Nardi steering wheel, Coco floor mats, and a Becker AM/FM radio. The seller acquired the car in 2017, and work in 2021 included servicing of the brakes and fuel system. This E9 is now offered with a set of removed 14″ wheels, recent service records, and a clean South Carolina title in the seller’s name.
The car was delivered new in Chamonix (085) and is believed to have been refinished around two decades ago. Features include vent windows, a retractable antenna, and chrome-finished bumpers with black trim. The power-operated sunroof sticks and rust is noted beneath the windshield weatherstripping.
Staggered-width 16″ Alpina-style wheels wear 205/55 front and 225/50 rear Dunlop Direzza DZ102 tires. The brake master cylinder and brake pads were replaced in 2021 when the front and rear calipers were rebuilt and braided stainless-steel hoses were also installed.
The cabin features seating surfaces trimmed in brown leather with matching door panels and darker brown carpets. Appointments include Coco front floor mats, lap belts, and a Becker Grand Prix AM/FM radio. The air conditioning does not cool effectively, the front seat upholstery is cracked, and the left front electric window does not work. A push-button ignition system was removed in late 2021.
A wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel sits ahead of VDO instrumentation that includes a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer, a clock, and a combination gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 71k miles, approximately 3k of which have been added by the seller. True mileage is unknown.
The 3.0-liter M30 inline-six is equipped with dual carburetors and sends power to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. A service in December 2021 included replacement of a fuel hose, adjustment of the hood release cable, and cleaning of the throttle linkage as well as an oil change.

Four removed 14″ wheels with hubcaps and tires are included in the sale along with service records for work completed under current ownership.
