This 1991 Chevrolet V1500 Suburban is a black-over-gray example that has been modified with the American Sportsman conversion package by Custom Craft Vehicles. Equipment includes a raised fiberglass roof, silver and gray graphics, running boards, a front brush guard, auxiliary lights, wind deflectors, tinted windows, wood trim, an overhead console, air conditioning, a TV and VCR, and a Kenwood CD stereo. The truck has spent time in Florida and Idaho and was acquired by the selling dealer in 2022. This Suburban now shows 113k miles and is offered at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, promotional materials, service records, headphones, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Idaho title.
The exterior is finished in black with silver and gray graphics. Features include a raised fiberglass roof, running boards, a front brush guard, auxiliary lights, wind deflectors, tinted windows, and barn-style rear doors. The selling dealer notes faded clearcoat on the right-rear barn door and the right-rear edge of the fiberglass top is damaged.
Bright 15″ wheels are wrapped in 31×10.5″ BFGoodrich All Terrain tires showing 2021 date codes. Stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes.
The interior features gray cloth upholstery as well as woodgrain veneers on the dashboard, the center console, the overhead console, and the doors. Amenities include power adjustable front- and middle-row captain chairs, a third-row bench seat, additional lighting, a television and VHS player, headphone hookups, air conditioning, cruise control, an aftermarket Kenwood CD stereo, aftermarket radar detector, and power windows.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 113k miles.
The 5.7-liter V8 was factory rated at 210 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in December 2021.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The transmission is said to have been replaced with a refurbished unit in 2002. Corrosion is noted on the underside.
Manufacturer’s literature, brand brochures, pamphlets, service records, and headphones are included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Florida and Idaho from the first entry in November 1992.
