This 1950 Dodge B2B is a half-ton pickup finished in dark blue over tan leather upholstery and powered by a 392ci Hemi V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. The truck was acquired by the selling dealer in March 2022, and a refurbishment completed under prior ownership included lowering the roof 2½”, modifying the bed and front facia, repainting the body, rebuilding the engine, transmission, and differential, and installing Mustang II front suspension components, Vintage Air air conditioning, and a Pioneer stereo. Additional equipment includes 18″ American Racing five-spoke wheels, front disc brakes, a wood-lined bed, flush-mount taillights, AutoMeter gauges, and power windows. This Dodge pickup is offered with a clean Pennsylvania title.
The roof was reportedly lowered 2½” and the front facia and truck bed were modified before the body was repainted in Midnight Blue Metallic under prior ownership. Features include a wood-lined bed, fixed tailgate, recessed license plate surround, flush-mount taillights, a split windshield, cab rear quarter windows, side mirrors, and a dual exhaust system with chrome finishers.
Chrome-finished 18″ American Racing wheels wear Falken tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted front discs with rear drums, and the Mustang II front suspension features coilover suspension and a power rack and pinion steering system.
The cabin features bucket seating upholstered in tan leather with matching a matching headliner and door panels along with a body-colored dashboard. Equipment includes Vintage Air air conditioning, a column-mounted gear selector, a center console, a dome light, and a Pioneer stereo.
The tan leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a column-mounted Sun Super Tachometer and AutoMeter instruments including a 120-mph speedometer and a combination gauge. The digital odometer reads zero miles, total mileage is unknown. The seller notes the speedometer needs to be calibrated.
The 392ci Hemi V8 was reportedly sourced from a 1957 Chrysler and rebuilt under previous ownership before being fitted with custom fabricated headers and a chrome alternator and air conditioning compressor.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a rebuilt three-speed Mopar 722 automatic transmission that is reportedly fitted with a 2,500-rpm stall speed torque convertor. The 8 ¾” rear axle houses a rebuilt 3.27:1 limited-slip differential.
