This 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302S race car is #8 of a reported 50 race cars sold through Ford Racing for the 2013 model year and is finished in Performance White with black graphics. Power is provide by a 5.0-liter V8 mated to a Tremec six-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential. The seller acquired the car from the reported original owner in 2014 and subsequently used it in HPDE events. Equipment includes an FIA-specification roll cage, an on-board fire suppression system, an AIM MXL digital display and data logger, Brembo front brakes, adjustable coilovers, 19″ wheels, an adjustable carbon-fiber rear wing, Sparco fixed-back racing seats and quick-release steering wheel, and G-Force harnesses. This Boss 302S race car shows 1,700 miles and is offered with spare parts and a spare set of wheels in Virginia with a bill of sale.
The body is finished in Performance White with black stripes and features a front splitter, an adjustable G-Stream carbon-fiber rear wing, front and rear tow hooks, circular grille air inlets, and hood extractor vents and hood pins. The inside the left rear wheel well has been refinished.
Split-spoke 19″ alloy wheels are mounted with 255/40 front and 285/35 rear Pirelli P Zero tires that show 2012 date codes. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel discs with four-piston Brembo calipers and two-piece slotted rotors up front. The Boss 302S also received carbon-fiber brake cooling ducts and a unique ABS calibration for racing. The suspension features adjustable remote-reservoir coilovers. A spare set of wheels and tires are included in the sale.
The factory race-prepped cabin features an FIA-spec roll cage with door bars, Sparco fixed-back racing seats, and blue G-Force six-point harnesses. Additional equipment includes driver-side window nets, an on-board fire suppression system, a master cut-off switch, and a modified center stack with Ford Racing switchgear.
The Sparco quick-release steering wheel fronts an AiM MXL Pista digital dash display and data logger. The configurable display can provide readouts for engine speed, vehicle speed, temperatures, fluid levels, and several other parameters. The digital odometer shows 1,700 miles and 36 hours of running time. Approximately 1,500 miles were added under current ownership.
The 5.0-liter BossR V8 is a derivative of the Coyote engine and was factory rated at 444 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. The 302S featured an upgraded cooling system and software when compared with the street-legal Boss 302.
Power is sent rearward via a Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual transmission, a carbon fiber driveshaft, and a Torsen T2R torque-biasing differential with 3.73:1 gears.
The car does not have a title, as it is intended for track use only. It is being sold on a bill of sale.
