This 2000 Toyota Tacoma 4×4 is a regular-cab pickup that was first registered in New Jersey and now has 17k miles. The truck is finished in red over gray cloth upholstery and is powered by a 2.7-liter inline-four linked to a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes 15″ alloy wheels, a sliding rear window, power windows and locks, air conditioning, and a cassette and CD stereo. This Tacoma is offered by the selling dealer with manufacturer’s literature, service records, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title.
The truck is finished in Sunfire Red Pearl (3K4) and features a chrome rear bumper and wheel-arch trim, a sliding rear window, a receiver hitch, and mud flaps. The bedsides, tailgate, and roof were reportedly repainted in preparation for the sale, after which the exterior is said to have received paint correction and a ceramic coating. Noted flaws include scratches on the left-front fender and left door, dings inside the bed, and discoloration of the rear bumper bar. Photos of these blemishes can be viewed in the gallery below.
The 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with 225/75 Firestone Destination LE3 tires showing 2021 date codes. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in gray cloth with patterned inserts. Equipment includes a center storage console, power windows and door locks, air conditioning, and a cassette and CD stereo.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 110-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 17k miles.
The 2.7-liter inline-four features electronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 150 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The selling dealer has changed the engine oil.
Rust is noted on the underside, which has been undercoated according to the selling dealer.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. An open manufacturer’s recall related to the trailer wire harness is also noted.
