This 2014 Porsche 911 GT3 is powered by a replacement 3.8-liter flat-six paired with a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transaxle and is finished in GT Silver Metallic over black leather and Alcantara upholstery. Equipment includes the Sport Chrono Package, 20″ center-lock wheels, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, the Sport Chrono Package, a front-axle lift system, 18-way adaptive sport seats, a limited-slip differential, and PCM with navigation. The car was delivered new to The Auto Gallery in Woodland Hills, California, and was reacquired by Porsche Cars North America in May 2014 as part of a federally mandated recall associated with the engine replacement. The selling dealer acquired the car in March 2022 and it now has 36k miles. This 991.1 GT3 is now offered by the selling dealer with partial service records and a South Dakota title.
The car is finished in GT Silver Metallic and features LED headlights, clear LED taillights, and aftermarket front dive planes. The Carfax report lists damage to the rear of the car in November 2018, and the selling dealer believes that repairs were performed on the rear of the car as a result. Clear paint protection film covers the front bumper, hood, front fenders, A-pillars, mirror caps, rear bumper behind the rear wheels, and the front section of the roof. The selling dealer notes imperfections in the clear film, a ding on the right-rear quarter panel, and scuffs on the front lip, photos of which are provided in the gallery.
The 20″ center-lock wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport K1 tires measuring 245/35 up front and 305/30 out back. Braking is handled by yellow Porsche-branded calipers over ceramic-composite rotors, and the car is equipped with a front-axle lift system.
The cabin houses heated 18-way adaptive sport seats trimmed in black leather with Alcantara inserts complemented by carbon-fiber trim. Amenities include cruise control, a central touchscreen, seat-position memory settings, the Sound Package Plus, the Light Design Package, illuminated carbon-fiber door sill guards, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation. The selling dealer reports that the floor mats have been replaced and notes holes in the rear carpets.
The leather-wrapped SportDesign steering wheel frames a central GT3-branded tachometer as well as a 225-mph speedometer, an LCD screen, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The optional Sport Chrono Package added a stopwatch atop the dashboard. The digital odometer indicates 36k miles.
The 3.8-liter flat-six was first replaced as part of a federally mandated recall in 2014, and records indicate it was replaced again in September 2020 by Porsche Woodland Hills in California, when the car had 28k miles. Work performed in 2022 included an oil change and replacing the battery, spark plugs, and various hardware, seals, lines, hoses, and filters.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transaxle and a limited-slip differential, and the right axle has been replaced. This example was ordered with an extended-range fuel tank.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned May 2014 manufacturer buyback, buyback/lemon branding from the state of California beginning in May 2014, and the November 2018 damage report. Registration is shown in California, Indiana, and South Dakota.
