This 2000 BMW M Roadster is powered by a 3.2-liter S52 inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, and it is finished in Estoril Blue over black Nappa leather. Equipment includes silver-finished 17″ Style 40 wheels, a black convertible soft top, an alarm system, a Sony stereo, a Harman Kardon sound system, air conditioning, cruise control, and replacement heated seats from a Z3. The car has spent its life in Texas and California, and it has 56k miles following its recent acquisition by the selling dealer. Recent service is said to have included fluids services and replacing the soft top and tires. This M Roadster is now offered in Massachusetts by the selling dealer with the owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
This M Roadster is one of 148 examples finished in Estoril Blue over black Nappa leather for the North American market for the model year. Features include front fender vents, quad exhaust outlets, and a replacement power-operated black convertible soft top that was reportedly installed in March 2022. The seller notes that a ceramic coating was recently applied to the bodywork.
Silver-finished 17″ Style 40 wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires that were reportedly installed in May 2022. The car is equipped with Automatic Stability Control, and braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs. The suspension has been modified with Bilstein dampers.
The cabin is equipped with heated seats from a Z3 that are upholstered in black leather. Amenities include roll hoops, air conditioning, cruise control, an alarm system, a Sony stereo, and a Harman Kardon sound system.
The M-branded leather-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 160-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 56k miles.
The 3.2-liter S52B32 inline-six features VANOS variable valve timing and was factory rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. Fluids services were performed in May 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional photographs of the underside are shown in the gallery below.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage and lists registration history in Texas and California.
