This 1970 Chevrolet C10 is a short wheelbase fleetside pickup that is finished in two-tone silver and gray over black upholstery and fitted with a fuel-injected 6.0-liter LS2 V8 paired with a 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission. Features include a 12-bolt rear axle with 3.73:1 gears, Foose 20″ aluminum wheels, power-assisted Wilwood disc brakes, an Airlift Performance suspension, a Ridetech air suspension controller, front and rear sway bars, West Coast cylinder heads, a Fuel Air Spark Technologies intake manifold and throttle body, Doug Thorley tubular headers, a cowl-induction hood, air conditioning, and a Kenwood touchscreen stereo. The truck was acquired by the owner in September 2021 and was offered on BaT in December 2021. Subsequent work consisted of repainting the bed, door jambs, and wheels as well as powder coating the grille. This modified C10 is offered at no reserve on dealer consignment with a clean California title.
The truck is finished in silver with a gray roof, hood, and bumpers. Features include red pinstriping, a cowl-induction hood, aftermarket headlights, dual chrome side mirrors, gray-finished bumpers, a relocated bed-mounted fuel filler, and polished exhaust outlets exiting in front of each rear wheel. Work in 2022 consisted of repainting the bed, tailgate, and door jambs as well as powder coating the grille.
The silver 20″ Foose wheels are mounted with Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR tires measuring 245/40 up front and 275/35 in the rear. The suspension has been modified and features an Airlift air-ride suspension kit and front and rear sway bars. Braking is handled by power-assisted Wilwood disc brakes with red-finish calipers at all four corners. The wheels were refinished to match the body in 2022.
The cabin features power-adjustable bucket seats upholstered in black leather joined by a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes air conditioning, a custom center console with storage and cup holders, a Ridetech air suspension controller, a Kenwood touchscreen stereo, and Kicker speakers. The interior is said to have been refurbished by Velocity Restorations of Cantonment, Florida.
The three-spoke Billet Specialties steering wheel frames a Dakota Digital 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 646 miles, and the total mileage is unknown.
The 6.0-liter LS2 V8 features West Coast ported cylinder heads, and a Fuel Air Spark Technologies intake manifold, throttle body, and fuel rails. Additional equipment includes Doug Thorley ceramic-coated tubular headers, a dual exhaust system, an aluminum radiator, and a rear-mounted fuel tank. An oil change was performed in preparation for sale.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission and a 12-bolt rear axle with 3.73:1 gears.
