This 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon was purchased new by the seller and is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi V8 mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car is said to be one of 122 examples built for the model year finished in Redline Red Tri-Coat, and the interior is trimmed in black leather and Alcantara upholstery. Additional equipment includes 18″ aluminum wheels, Brembo brakes, widebody fender extensions, Air-Catcher headlights, an Air-Grabber hood, an 18-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, and power-adjustable, heated, and ventilated seats along with a Mopar harness bar with four-point racing harnesses. This SRT Demon has 6k miles and is offered with a Demon Crate, a window sticker, three keys, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title.
The car is finished in Redline Red Tri-Coat and features widebody fender extensions, front and rear spoilers, and an Air-Grabber hood. Additional equipment includes xenon Air-Catcher headlights, Demon badging, and a matte-black hood, roof, and decklid spoiler. The front splitter retains its yellow protective strip. The seller notes paint chipping near the hood scoop that is reportedly the result of a manufacturing defect among Demons, and a repair from Dodge is available according to the seller.
This is a re-list after the vehicle was previously sold on BaT in April 2022 and the winning bidder failed to follow through with their commitment to purchase. This was not due to any fault with the vehicle. The winner has been banned from future participation on BaT and their buyer’s fee was not refunded.
Black-finished 18×11″ aluminum wheels are mounted with Demon-branded 315/40 Nitto NT05R drag radial tires. Stopping power is provided by Brembo calipers over slotted rotors at all four corners. The car is equipped with Launch Assist, a line lock, and electronic stability and traction control systems.
The heated and ventilated seats are trimmed in black leather with Alcantara inserts and contrasting stitching, and the leather upholstery extends to the center console and door panels. Amenities include an 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen, a Harman Kardon 18-speaker audio system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and embroidered floor mats.
A Mopar harness bar manufactured by Speedlogix is mounted behind the front seats and provides a mounting location for driver and passenger racing harnesses that feature Demon logos. The car was not optioned with a rear seat, and the standard front seat belts remain in place.
The heated multifunction steering wheel is wrapped in Alcantara and features paddle shifters. Instrumentation consists of a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and a configurable LCD screen. The digital odometer indicates 6k miles, all of which were added during current ownership.
The dash plaque indicates that this example is #0422 of 3,300 Demons built for the 2018 model year. The seller has added a personalized air vent, and the original vent is included in the sale.
The 6.2-liter Hemi V8 features an IHI twin-screw supercharger and was factory-rated at 808 horsepower and 717 lb-ft of torque on premium fuel. Increased output of 840 horsepower and 770 lb-ft is possible on 100-octane fuel when enabled by the race-tuned ECU included in the Demon Crate. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential, and the car is factory-equipped with a transbrake.
The Demon Crate will accompany the car and includes a hydraulic floor jack with a carrying bag, a cordless impact wrench, a torque wrench, a tire pressure gauge, a performance air filter, a race-tuned ECU, and front-runner wheels. Manufacturer’s literature, a window sticker, and three keys are also included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Arizona and Texas. There is currently a lien on the car, and the seller’s lender will need to be paid off before the title can be transferred to the new owner.
