This 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS Pace Car Edition is one of a reported 1,150 made for the model year. The exterior is finished in yellow with silver ground effects over black leather, and power is supplied by a 3.8-liter V6 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes checkered flag graphics, a dual-exit exhaust system, 16″ alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, a sunroof, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, and traction control. The car has been registered in Pennsylvania since new and it was acquired by the seller in April 2022. This Monte Carlo SS has 21k miles and is now offered with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title in the seller’s spouse’s name.
The car is finished in yellow with silver side skirts and checkered flag graphics. Exterior equipment includes a rear spoiler, “Limited Edition Pace Car” badging, a sunroof, and dual exhaust outlets. Close-up photos of the paint and exterior can be viewed in the gallery below.
Five-spoke 16″ alloy wheels are wrapped in an older set of 225/60 Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.
The cabin features seats upholstered in black leather with Chevy Bowtie headrest stitching. Amenities include dual-zone climate control, cruise control, and traction control.
The multifunction steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer reads 21k miles, only a handful of which were added by the current owner.
The 3.8-liter V6 was rated at 200 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque when new.
Power is sent to the front wheels through a four-speed automatic transaxle. Additional photos of the underside are available in the gallery below.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Pennsylvania.
