This 1976 Porsche 912E is finished in Light Yellow over a black interior and is powered by a 2.0L flat-four mated to a five-speed manual transaxle. Additional equipment includes a sunroof, 14” Fuchs wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a short-shift kit, a Sony head unit, and JBL speakers. The car was acquired by the seller in 2021 and now shows 126k miles. This 912E is now offered with factory literature and a clean Utah title in the seller’s name.
The car was finished from the factory in Light Yellow (117) and was repainted during previous ownership. Features include a chrome driver-side mirror, bright trim around the headlights and windows, and a sunroof. Rust is noted behind the right-side headlight in the front trunk, along with a raised area on the rear decklid. Overspray is evident on the bottom of the floor pans.
Forged 14” Fuchs wheels are mounted with 185/70 Delta Essex tires. The rear shocks are said to have been replaced during current ownership. Stopping power is supplied by discs at all four corners.
The cabin features seats that were re-covered in black vinyl with cloth centers during previous ownership as well as matching door panels and carpeting. A short-shift kit was installed during current ownership in addition to a replacement linkage coupling and bushings. The Sony head unit features Bluetooth compatibility and is wired to JBL speakers.
The three-spoke steering wheel shows seam separation and fronts instrumentation consisting of a 7k-rpm tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges have been fitted with LED bulbs. The analog clock is inoperable, and the six-digit odometer shows 126k miles, approximately 2k of which were added by the seller.
The air-cooled 2.0L flat-four is equipped with Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection and sends power to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. According to handwritten notes in the maintenance booklet, the clutch, pistons, and valves were replaced at around 110k miles.
