This 1985 Toyota Supra was purchased new by the seller and is finished in metallic blue over blue and gray upholstery. The car is powered by a 2.8-liter DOHC 5M-GE inline-six mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes pop-up headlights, a two-piece rear spoiler, wheel arch flares, a sunroof, 14″ alloy wheels, cruise control, and power windows and locks. Service since 2015 is said to have included the replacement of the front and rear shocks, starter motor, clutch, and tires. This Celica Supra shows 216k miles and is offered at no reserve with an owner’s manual, service invoices, a Carfax report, and a Montana title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in metallic blue and features a two-piece rear spoiler, wheel arch flares, pop-up headlights, fog lights, a sunroof, and power mirrors. The hood and roof were reportedly repainted in the 1980s, the windshield has been replaced, and areas of rust around the wheel wells have been patched with riveted metal panels and Butyl sealer. The seller states that the right-front corner was damaged as the result of a parking-lot incident, and the wheel arch flare bracket was repaired with epoxy. Salvage certificates and damage disclosures attached to the title were subsequently issued by the state of Montana beginning in 2006. Touch-up paint and blemishes are visible on the nose, one of the fog lights is inoperative, the hood struts are weak, rocker panel trim pieces are missing, the wipers do not work at the top speed setting, and the fuel filler door is discolored.
The 14″ alloy wheels wear Toyota-branded center caps and are mounted with 195/70 Michelin Defender tires that were installed in 2018. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted discs at all four corners. The front and rear shocks are said to have been replaced in 2017.
The front and rear seats are upholstered in blue and gray cloth and are joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, center console, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include cruise control and power windows and locks. Wear is visible on the driver-side seat bolster and center armrest, and the air conditioning and stereo are inoperative.
A leather-wrapped two-spoke steering wheel frames a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline and a 130-mph speedometer. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 216k miles, all of which have been added by the seller.
The 2.8-liter DOHC 5M-GE inline-six was rated at 161 horsepower and 169 lb-ft of torque when new. The starter motor was reportedly replaced in 2015. The engine leaks oil from multiple locations.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The clutch is said to have been replaced in 2015.
The Carfax report lists registration history in Montana as well as the aforementioned salvage certificates and damage disclosures beginning in 2006.
