This 2004 Land Rover Discovery II SE Trail Edition is finished in Java Black over black leather upholstery and is powered by a 4.6-liter V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential. Factory equipment includes dual sunroofs, 18″ alloy wheels, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and an AM/FM CD cassette stereo. The truck was initially delivered to Land Rover Princeton in New Jersey and spent time in Maine prior to the seller’s acquisition in 2012. Subsequent modifications included installation of a Terrafirma 4″ lift kit, oversized Nitto tires, and an ARB front bumper. This Discovery II shows 48k miles and is offered with two keys, manufacturer’s literature, a window sticker, service records, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Indiana title in the seller’s name.
The truck is finished in Java Black (607) with black fender flares and body side moldings. Additional details include integrated fog lights, halogen headlights with power washers, dual sunroofs, Alpine windows, an ARB deluxe bull bar front bumper, taillight guards, and a receiver hitch. The seller notes blemishes on the hood and passenger-side front fender.
Silver 18″ Hurricane-style wheels wear 275/70 Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires that show date codes from 2018, and a full-size matching spare is mounted to the rear cargo door. A Terrafirma 4″ lift kit was installed under current ownership along with a Terrafirma steering dampener, a rear spring perch kit, an adjustable Panhard rod, HD extended sway bar links, extended watts links, and extended stainless steel brake lines. The truck is equipped with electronic brake distribution and hill decent control. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.
The cabin features black leather seat upholstery, Alcantara door panel inserts, and burled wood trim on the dashboard and shifter. Amenities include heated and power-adjustable front seats, a folding rear bench seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, power windows and door locks, power-adjustable heated mirrors, and an AM/FM cassette stereo with a CD changer. The headliner was replaced in April 2022.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 48k miles, approximately 18k of which were added by the seller.
The 4.6-liter V8 features sequential fuel injection and was factory rated at 217 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was carried out in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential. A Tom Woods carbon-drive front shaft was installed during current ownership, and the seller states that service carried out in 2021 included fluid flushes of the transmission and differentials. Additonal underbody photos are available in the gallery below.
The window sticker lists factory colors, equipment, and total price of $41,445.
The Carfax report shows no accident or other damage and lists history in New Jersey, Maine, Virginia, and Indiana.
