This 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale S Tricolore was purchased new by the seller in August 2012, and it now has 1,300 miles. The bike is powered by a 1,198cc Superquadro L-twin paired with a six-speed transmission with the Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) system. Equipment includes a Termignoni two-into-two exhaust system, a single-sided swingarm, a carbon-fiber front fender, electronically adjustable Öhlins suspension, 17″ forged Marchesini wheels, triple Brembo disc brakes, and a solo saddle with a painted cowl as well as an electronics suite including Ducati Data Analyzer+ support, riding modes, and selectable traction control, engine braking control, and ABS parameters. Service performed in 2020 included replacing the tires and changing the oil, coolant, and brake and clutch fluid. This Panigale S is now offered at no reserve with a Ducati Data Analyzer+ module, the removed factory exhaust system, spare bodywork, a passenger pillion and foot pegs, a rear axle stand, and a clean Michigan title in the name of the seller’s business.
The fully-faired bodywork is finished in a tricolore paint scheme with black and white Ducati graphics. Features include a vented tail section, a solo saddle, a clear windscreen, a carbon-fiber front fender, a tank protector pad, fairing-mounted mirrors, aluminum rear-set foot controls, and a license plate relocation kit. A passenger pillion pad and folding passenger foot pegs will accompany the motorcycle, as will spare bodywork.
Marchesini 17″ forged wheels wear 120/70 front and 200/55 rear Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 tires that were mounted in May 2020 by Ducati Detroit of Birmingham, Michigan. Braking is from dual radially mounted Brembo calipers mounted over 330mm drilled rotors up front along with a single Brembo caliper and a 245mm drilled inboard disc at the rear. The brake fluid was flushed in 2020.
Öhlins suspension consists of a 43mm NIX30 inverted fork with a titanium-nitride coating as well as a TTX36 piggyback monoshock mounted to the single-sided swingarm. Spring preload is manually adjustable at both the front and the rear, while adjustments for rebound and compression damping are handled electronically at both ends.
Aluminum clip-on handlebars mounted below the upper triple clamp are joined by an Öhlins steering damper and front a TFT digital dash, which displays a tachometer with a 12k-rpm redline, a speedometer, a gear indicator, a clock, and an engine temperature readout as well as integrated controls for the riding modes and traction control, engine braking control, and ABS. The odometer indicates 1,300 miles. A Ducati Data Analyzer+ module is included in the sale.
The liquid-cooled 1,198cc Superquadro L-twin features Mitsubishi electronic fuel injection and a Termignoni two-into-two exhaust system with titanium mufflers, and factory-rated output was 195 horsepower and 97 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in May 2020. The removed factory exhaust system is included in the sale.
Power is delivered to the rear wheel through a wet multi-plate slipper clutch, a six-speed transmission with the Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) system, and a drive chain. The clutch fluid was flushed and the drive chain was adjusted and lubricated in May 2020.
