This 2006 BMW M5 is powered by a 5.0-liter V10 paired with a seven-speed SMG sequential transmission, and it is finished in Silverstone Metallic over optional perforated black Merino leather. Equipment includes 19″ Style 166 wheels, an M Variable differential, adaptive xenon headlights, a glass sunroof, iDrive with navigation, Park Distance Control, a head-up display, heated and ventilated front seats, Comfort Access keyless entry, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Harman Kardon sound system. The car has remained registered in Nevada since new and was acquired by the seller in July 2019. This E60 M5 has 67k miles and is now offered at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, a window sticker, recent service records, and a clean Nevada title in the seller’s name.
The M5 features flared fenders and rocker panels as well as revised bumper covers, front fender vents, and quad exhaust outlets when compared to the standard E60. This example is finished in Silverstone Metallic (A29) and is equipped with a glass sunroof, tinted windows, a decklid spoiler, adaptive bi-xenon headlamps with washers, and front and rear parking sensors. Clear paint-protection film is said to have been applied to the front bumper cover, headlight lenses, and a portion of the hood. Photos of the paint and trim can be viewed in the gallery below.
Silver-finished 19″ Style 166 wheels are mounted with 255/40 front and 285/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The car is equipped with Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) with M Dynamic Mode, and braking is handled by four-wheel cross-drilled and ventilated discs. The brake fluid was flushed in November 2021.
The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in optional perforated black Merino leather, while Walnut Madeira wood trim accents the dashboard, center console, and doors. Amenities include heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats, iDrive with navigation, a head-up display, Comfort Access keyless entry, a Harman Kardon sound system, a power rear sunshade, a six-disc CD changer, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cruise control.
The multi-function leather-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a variable redline, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 67k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership.
The 5.0-liter S85 V10 features a semi-dry-sump lubrication system, individual throttle bodies, and double-VANOS variable valve timing. Factory-rated output was 500 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. The battery and engine oil were changed in November 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through seven-speed SMG single-clutch sequential transmission and an M Variable differential, the latter of which received a fluid change in November 2021.
The window sticker shows factory colors and equipment, initial delivery to Advantage BMW in Houston, Texas, and a total suggested retail price of $94,650.
Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale along with recent service records and two remote keys.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Texas and Nevada.
