This 2000 Audi S4 is a silver-over-silver sedan powered by a twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 mated to a six-speed manual transaxle and Quattro all-wheel drive. Equipment includes xenon headlights, 17″ Avus wheels, navigation, silver Nappa leather upholstery, a Bose Premium sound system, the Cold Weather Package with heated front seats, and the Convenience Package featuring a power glass sunroof and a HomeLink remote transmitter. The car was sold new by Len Stoler Incorporated in Maryland and was acquired in 2018 by the seller, who has since added 12k of its 93k miles. This B5 S4 is now offered at no reserve with handwritten ownership notes, spare parts and accessories, manufacturer’s literature, a window sticker, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Maryland title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Light Silver Metallic (LY7W), and features include xenon headlights, a glass sunroof, and polished dual exhaust tips. LED fog light and license plate light bulbs have been added under current ownership. Paint scrapes are visible near the left taillight and front wheel well, and the headlight washers do not function.
Silver 17” Avus wheels are mounted with 225/45 Michelin Pilot Sport tires showing 2017 production date codes, and a full-size spare is stowed in the trunk. Standard S4 equipment includes a sport suspension with a four-link front end and independent double A-arms out back as well as an electronic stability program. A March 2018 service is said to have included replacing the front CV boots and a right-side CV joint. Curb marks on the wheels are shown in the gallery, and the seller reports the brake system needs to be flushed.
The heated and power-adjustable front seats are trimmed in silver Nappa leather, and birdseye maple wood trim accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Additional appointments include automatic climate control, a CD-based navigation system, cruise control, and an Audi Symphony CD and cassette stereo linked to a factory Bose sound system. The seller states the cruise control lever is partially functioning, the auto-dimming feature for the mirrors is not functional, the headliner is sagging in the rear, and the bracket on the netting behind the passenger seat is cracked. A replacement cruise control lever accompanies the car.
A leather-wrapped S4-branded steering wheel frames a 170-mph speedometer, a tachometer, auxiliary gauges, and a central digital display with faded and missing pixels. The digital odometer indicates 93k miles, approximately 12k of which were added under current ownership.
The twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 has 30 valves and was factory rated at 250 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque when new. A timing belt service is said to have been performed in 2017 at 75k miles and the battery was replaced in 2019. The seller reports the washer fluid reservoir has a crack.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a Quattro all-wheel-drive system.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Len Stoler Inc. of Owings Mills, Maryland, factory colors and equipment, and a total price of $42,680. A first aid kit, manufacturer’s literature, a handwritten maintenance log, a Thule ski rack, a bike rack, a car cover, and spare parts accompany the car.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Maryland from new.
